The Decision Thursday Agenda

Run your first 20-minute Decision Thursday with a 5-line agenda.

Five minutes, five steps

  1. Copy the five-line agenda: what was found, what it is worth, who owns the fix, sign or reject, next Thursday.
  2. Put twenty minutes in the CFO's calendar for Thursday. The invite text is below.
  3. Bring one finding, with its source document.
  4. Get a signature or a rejection. Nothing else.
  5. Repeat next Thursday. Two in a row and it is a rhythm.

The five-line agenda

Decision Thursday · 20 minutes 1. What was found this week. One finding, one page, source document attached. 2. What it is worth. One number, annual, and how it was worked out. 3. Who owns the fix. One name. Not a team. 4. Sign or reject. The CFO signs the line into the Ledger, or rejects it and says what would make it hold. 5. Next Thursday. What will be on the page next week. Nothing else on the agenda. If it is not one of the five, it waits.

This Thursday

The calendar invite

Decision Thursday · 20 minutes · every Thursday One finding. One number. One owner. Sign or reject. Next Thursday. Bring nothing. The page comes to you by Wednesday.
Build it once, properly.
